⚰️ Lives - Hardcore Mechanics Overview

Welcome to The Hardcore Minecraft Network — where survival isn’t just a challenge, it’s the core of the experience. Below is a breakdown of how our death and progression systems work across Core (Survival), Hardcore, Ultra Hardcore, and Hardcore Skyblock. All mechanics are active across all servers unless noted otherwise.


💖 Life System

  • Starting Lives: Players begin with 1 life.

  • Max Lives: You can hold up to 100 lives.

  • Lives Lost on Death: You lose 1 life every time you die.

  • Lives After Death Ban: You return with 1 life after a death ban.


🧩 Life Parts System

  • Enabled: Yes — collect parts to craft lives!

  • Life Parts Needed for 1 Life: 4

  • Max Life Parts: Unlimited

  • Starting Life Parts: 0

  • Life Parts After Ban: Reset to 0

  • Loss on Death: Lose 1 life part

  • Loss on Death Ban: Lose all life parts

  • Gain by Playtime: ✅ Yes!

    • Earn 1 Life Part every 12 hours (720 mins) of playtime


☠️ Death Ban System

  • Enabled: Yes — run out of lives, get death banned!

  • Ban Duration: Permanent (until revived or cooldown ends)

  • All Causes of Death Lead to a Ban: Every death type (lava, mobs, falling, etc.) is configured to trigger a ban if you're out of lives.

  • Self-Harm Bans: Suicide and /kill command also lead to death bans.

  • Lightning Strike on Death Ban: Yes — a dramatic end!

  • Death Ban Commands:

    • Broadcasts your fall from grace.

    • Resets your advancements.

  • Respawn Location After Ban: World spawn if no bed is found.


❤️ Max Health System

  • Starting Max Health: 10 hearts (20 half-hearts)

  • Minimum Health: 0.5 heart (1 half-heart)

  • Health Lost on Death: Lose 1 heart (2 half-hearts)

  • Health After Death Ban: Resets to full

  • Gain by Playtime: ✅ Yes!

    • Earn 0.5 heart every 1 hour of playtime


⚔️ Combat Logging

  • Player Combat Log = Death + Ban

  • Mob Combat Log = Death + Ban

  • Combat Tag Duration: 15 seconds

  • Combat Kicks = Not deadly (you won't die if kicked)


🕊️ Reviving Players

  • Enabled: Yes — sacrifice one of your lives to bring someone back!

  • Lives Lost to Revive: 1

  • Lives Gained When Revived: 1

  • Cooldown Between Revives: 12 hours

  • Reviving on First Join: ❌ Not available immediately — wait for cooldown.


🌩️ Other Features

  • Lightning on Death Ban: ⚡Yes — for dramatic effect!

  • Death Screen: Visible upon death

  • Artificial Regeneration (Potions/Food): ✅ Enabled
