Hey everyone, Quick (but important) update as we begin bringing The Hardcore Minecraft Network back online. Over the last stretch of downtime we’ve been doing major hardware upgrades and stability work behind the scenes. During that process, we unfortunately experienced data loss. We’ve already shared the broad impact, but the main area of concern was the Vanilla Hardcore server.   What Happened The Vanilla Hardcore world suffered a complete loss. That means we could not recover the map, builds, inventories, or progression from that server.   What This Means Going Forward Vanilla Hardcore is now a true fresh start. Everyone begins from zero. This is not a rollback or partial reset, it’s a full new world.   The Good News Vanilla Hardcore is officially back online and OPEN for play right now.   ️ What To Expect As We Return We’re bringing things back in phases. You may see other parts of the network appear online in short bursts while we validate systems and update compatibility for newer Minecraft versions. If something looks a little scuffed, that’s because we’re actively restoring and improving core systems as we go.   How You Can Help If you notice issues (performance spikes, odd behavior, broken features), please report them with: What happened Where it happened (coords if possible) Time/date Any screenshots or clips   ️ Thank You We know losing a world stings. We appreciate everyone’s patience and we’re committed to rebuilding stronger and more resilient than before. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to jump in, this is it:   Vanilla Hardcore is live. Fresh world. One life. Let’s make new legends.

Hey everyone, During our hardware upgrade downtime, we ran into data failures that caused the loss of some important world data. We want to be upfront about what happened and what it means as we bring the network back online. Affected Areas:• Hardcore (Main Hardcore World): Partial world data loss• Ultra-Hardcore: Partial world data loss• Vanilla Server: Complete world data loss What this means:You may notice missing terrain changes, builds, containers, or progress in impacted regions. The Vanilla server is a full loss, meaning it will be rebuilt from scratch. What we’re doing now:• Restoring and validating what remains of Hardcore and Ultra-Hardcore• Fixing broken systems and updating compatibility for newer Minecraft versions• Bringing the server online in controlled test windows while we verify stability Current status:The network may appear online at times, but it is not open for regular play yet while restoration work continues. We know this is frustrating, especially for those who invested time into builds and progress. We’re taking this seriously and rebuilding with stronger safeguards moving forward. More updates soon.   Thanks for sticking with us.

For a long time, hardcoreminecraft.net stood for a simple promise: one life, no safety net. Back in the earlier era, we ran as a hardcore-anarchy experience with a minimal plugin footprint, built around permanent death bans. Then we evolved. In 2025, we began shaping The Hardcore Minecraft Network into something bigger: a true survival gauntlet with a full progression ecosystem, including PVP, factions, quests, skills, dynamic scaling mobs, bosses, minions, and a revamped life system (life parts, revives, and more). Why we went quiet This wasn’t a “server died” moment. It was a strategic sleep. We paused due to aging hardware and sustainability costs, so we could rebuild on a stronger foundation. What’s changing for the return When the network comes back online, the goal is not “flip the switch and hope.” The goal is reliable uptime, smoother performance, and a tighter core loop that keeps Hardcore feeling lethal, fair, and addicting. Expect the return to focus on: A stronger backbone (infrastructure first, features second) Hardcore as the center of gravity (the mode that defines us) Progression that rewards survival (not just grinding) Better pacing: updates that land like crafted arrows, not confetti cannons What you can do right now Stay close to Discord (that’s where we’ll post first pings, tests, and re-open windows). If you played in the old days: you’re part of the legend. If you’re new: you’re walking into a story mid-thunderstorm. Final word From the first block placed to the last heart lost, this world was shaped by players. The server rested… but not forever.   Dawn is coming. And when it hits, it won’t be a soft sunrise, it’ll be a full respawn of purpose. ️

THE HARDCORE ERA BEGINSWelcome to The Hardcore Minecraft Network — a brutal, unrelenting, multi-server survival gauntlet where the strong thrive and the weak are struck down. Whether you're a new wanderer, a returning veteran, or someone seeking the ultimate Minecraft challenge — this is your battleground. Our initial focus is centered around the heart of it all: the Hardcore Server. Every feature, every mechanic, every heartbeat of the network is now channeling energy into a single concept: survive at all costs. Key Features That Define Our World: This isn't your typical SMP. This is Hardcore Minecraft — built differently. ️ PVP Enabled: Nowhere is safe. Watch your back, even your friends might turn. Factions: Team up to build, raid, conquer — or go rogue and make enemies of everyone. Quests: Over 15,000 immersive quests available. Progression is endless. Skills: Level up and unlock new abilities as you grow. Combat, mining, crafting — all matters. ️ Dynamic Leveled Mobs: The mobs evolve with your power — and the deeper you go, the harder they hit. ️ One Life System: Death is permanent — unless you’ve got a backup plan. HARDCORE LIFE SYSTEM — A New Standard in Survival You begin with 1 life. That's it. Die, and you’re out — unless you: Purchase extra lives or unbans via the Store Collect Life Parts (4 = 1 Life) Gain Life Parts by playing: +1 Life Part every 12 hours Be revived by another player (at the cost of one of their lives) Once you run out of lives, you're death banned — and yes, all causes of death count. Fall damage, mobs, PVP, lava, /kill command — doesn’t matter. Death Ban = Permanent until revived or you buy a life/unban. When you're death banned, you’ll know it — a lightning strike marks your fall. ️ HEALTH SYSTEM — Death Wounds You You lose 1 heart each time you die Gain back 0.5 heart per hour of playtime Drop to a minimum of 0.5 hearts After a death ban, health resets to full ️ COMBAT LOGGING IS DEADLY Logging out in combat = instant death + death ban.Combat tag: 15 seconds.Think you can cheat death? Think again. DYNAMIC MOBS & BOSSES — Stay on Your Toes Every mob dynamically scales to your strength and location: Mobs increase in level the further you are from spawn and based on players nearby Damage & HP scale with level No level cap — things can and WILL get insane Boss Mobs randomly spawn — they’re stronger, nastier, and clearly marked Example: Lvl 37 | Zombie | 54/110 The deeper you go, the harder it gets. Don’t treat any mob lightly — even a skeleton can be your final foe. MINIONS — Shard-Fueled Automation Tired of the grind? Our minions will work for you — powered by Shards, our in-game currency. Minions — Your Shard-Fueled Survival Helpers Tired of grinding alone? Our purchasable Minions are here to help automate your survival efforts using your hard-earned Shards (our in-game currency). Whether you're farming, mining, fishing, or crafting — there's a minion ready to assist. How It Works Buy Minions with Shards in our in-game shop. Place them in your base or island. Equip them with the correct tool (like a pickaxe, axe, hoe, etc.). Upgrade them over time using more shards and actions performed. They work while you're online — and if your chunks stay loaded, even while you're offline! ️ Available Minion Types Lumberjack Minion Chops down trees in a spherical area.Give it an axe and let it handle the wood! ️ Miner Minion Automatically mines cobblestone or generator blocks.Place it near a gen and give it a pickaxe. Farmer Minion Harvests and replants crops in its area.Give it a hoe and your farm stays thriving. Fisher Minion Catches fish over time with a fishing rod.Works best near water. ️ Slayer Minion Fights nearby hostile mobs.Equip it with a sword and watch it clean up! Collector Minion Picks up nearby dropped items.Use it alongside other minions to gather their loot. ️ Crafter Minion Automatically crafts items using its connected chest’s contents.Supports basic recipe automation. Seller Minion Sells items from its linked container, turning resources into shards automatically. Minion Upgrades Each minion type can be upgraded up to 10 levels. Upgrading increases: Range (how far it works) Speed (how fast it performs actions) Storage / Multiplier (for Seller and Slayer minions) Upgrade costs scale with: Shards Actions performed by the minion (e.g., blocks broken, mobs killed) Example: Upgrade your Lumberjack from Level 1 to Level 2 with 10,000 shards and 100 logs chopped. Tool & Storage Automation Minions use durability on tools. Tools can be automatically pulled from a linked chest. Storage chests must be within 30 blocks of the minion. Minions will display a warning hologram if they encounter a problem. Getting Started Purchase a minion using /shop. Place the minion on your land or island. Give it the required tool. Link a storage chest. Let it work and upgrade as you go! ️ Limits & Notes Each player starts with a limit of 1 active minion (upgradable via ranks). On islands, the default minion cap is 10 total. Only you can access and break your minions. Minions are your loyal helpers — powered by shards, fueled by automation, and built to make survival less grindy and more strategic. Work smarter, not harder.   – The Hardcore Minecraft Network Team
